Participation in the implementation of the contract for the exploration of oil and gas resources in the Western Desert
Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Iraqi Minister of Oil, and at the presence of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Iraq and in great ceremony took place at the ministry of oil headquarter in Baghdad, STG-Oil had initialed the Contract of Block 17 Exploration, Development and Production (EDPSC).
This was the result of long discussions and negotiations in order to agree on the terms and conditions of a new contract to replace the old production-sharing contract, that was signed in 2003 between the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and (STG-Oil) with new service contract.
Participation of STG-OIL in the ECP project within the framework of the gasification program for the state of Gujarat, one of the most industrialized regions of India.
Indian National Company Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. (GSPC Group) signed a contract with Stroytransgaz for the construction of a section of the Anand - Rajkot gas pipeline.
According to the terms of the contract, STG-OIL took part in design work and construction.
The project was carried out on EPC (Engineering, procurement and construction) terms as part of the gasification program for the state of Gujarat, one of the most industrialized regions of India.
Participation of STG-OIL in exploration, development and production of hydrocarbons in the Block 245-South (Illizi Basin) on an area of 6,548 km2.
STG-OIL took part in the performance of work under the Production-Sharing Contract (PSA) concluded between Sonatrach (Algeria) and Rosneft - Stroytransgaz LTD, formed on a parity basis by OJSC NK Rosnfet and JSC Stroytransgaz.
Block 245-South is located in the eastern part of Algeria, in the Illizi oil and gas basin - one of the three most promising areas for the discovery of oil fields in Algeria. Block area 6 thousand 548 sq. km.
It is a plateau with rocky rocks and dry riverbeds in the north and sand dunes in the south, through which there is a highway, as well as an oil and gas pipeline.
The company carried out appraisal and additional exploration work on the block, and also STG-OIL took part in the construction of infrastructure facilities.
The total conditional oil resources of the two West and East Takuazet fields within the Block 245-South developed by Rosneft and Stroytransgaz are estimated at 56 million tons of gas - 24.6 billion cubic meters.
The contract for the development of Block 245-South (Illizi basin) was signed on a Production-Sharing Contract (PSA) basis between Rosneft - Stroytransgaz LTD and the national oil and gas company Sonatrach acting on behalf of the Algerian government.
Participation of STG-OIL in the construction of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline.
The throughput capacity of the pipeline is 12 million tons per year.
Length route - 448.8 km.
The customer of this project was CJSC North-West Pipeline Company MunaiTas.The oil pipeline connected the Kenkiyak oil pumping station with the Atyrau oil pumping station of KazTransOil CJSC and further with the export terminals of the Caspian pipeline consortium and the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline. All oil producing enterprises located along the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline became consumers of this system. The main: CNPC Aktobemunaigaz, Kazakhoil-Aktobe, Kazakhoil-Emba, Kazakhturkmunai, etc.The average pipeline construction speed was 7-8 km per day.During the construction, special attention was paid to the environmental aspect. When crossing the Ural River, the method of horizontal directional drilling was applied, which eliminates the negative impact on the environment and allows to preserve the riverbeds and banks in their natural state. The pipeline was laid at a depth of 19.49 m under the river bottom with the drilling of a well with a length of 841.18 m.The initial throughput of the pipeline was 6 million tons of oil per year with a subsequent increase to 12 million tons per year.Astrakhan Region
Participation in geological exploration at the North Astrakhan license area jointly with JSC "Astrakhannefteprom", the administration of the Astrakhan region and with the involvement of a foreign partner of the Italian ENI-Agip Energy.
STG-Oil carried out geological exploration activities within the Severo-Astrakhan License Block (Russia). Three deep wells (more than 6000 m) have been drilled, which penetrated Upper Devonian and partially Middle Devonian sediments. As a result of the drilling: a gas condensate pool has been discovered in Bashkirian deposits within depths of 3890 – 3970 m (Tabakovskaya area); and direct hydrocarbon indications (including blowouts of degassed drilling mud with oil) have been registered in the Famennian-Tournaisian carbonates within depths of 5800 – 5960 m (Volodarskaya area).
Tver Region
Participation in the geological study of the Zubtsovsky license area (Tver region), including seismic exploration. Development of a geological model of the structure of the territory. Drilling of exploratory wells.
Orenburg Region
In the Orenburg region (Russia), STG-Oil Company developeda number of oil and gas condensate fields. The total reserves of gas and liquid hydrocarbons in the fields are 29 billion cubic meters (1035 billion cubic feet) and 37 million tons (270 million barrels), respectively. The oil & natural gas liquids and natural gas contains more than 7% of H2S. Surface facilities have been constructed in two fields (Kopanskoye and Berdyanskoye oil and gas condensate fields, Chkalovskoye oil and gas condensate field, Yuzhno-Orenburgskoye and Terektinskoye gas condensate fields), which are now in operation.
